Some freeze better then others, but most of them are ok. It's the delicate ones like meadowfoam that don't like to be frozen.

Here is my list of oils and their shelf lives. I have accumulated this from the vendors that I have used over the years, as well as what I have studied. When there has been a difference noted, I added the range I hope this helps. If there is an oil that I missed, please add it, or let me know.

3-6 months; Borage seed oil, and must be refrigerated, and never heated in recipes.
6 months; Evening Primrose , and it should not be heated either, rice bran, and black seed oil
6-12 months; Cherry bark oil
6-8 months; pumpkin, *wheat germ should be refrigerated and can last 6-8 mths, but some vendors give up to a yr. for shelf life
8 months; Hemp (refrigerate)
8-10 months; hazelnut
10-12 months; macadamian nut, olive oil, shea nut oil
12 months; plum oil, rosehip seed oil, safflower, sesame, sunflower (some vendors say 6moths to 1 yr), plum, apricot seed, avocado
10-14 months; tamanu
12-14 months; sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, kukui nut,
14-16 months; pomegranate, soybean
18 months; palm
2 yrs; camelina, castor, coconut, neem
2-3 yrs; vitamin E
2-3 yrs.; jojoba, meadowfoam

I love meadowfoam oil! It got its name because it looks like a meadow of foam when its blooming. It is believed to be more (oxidatively) stable than any other known vegetable oil known. It is really great because when you add it to other oils, it extends their shelf life!

On its own, it re-moisturizes the skin, adds shine and moisture to the hair and scalp, and is great for dry, cracked lips too. It makes a great addition to any skin care product. Just using 2%-10% provides great conditioning and good slip. In soap it is recommended to use for superfatting at 1 oz ppo [at trace], or if you are using as a base oil, use at 10 to 20% of total oils.

It really is a great oil to try, lots of benefits! :P

It makes no difference whether you add oils/butters up front or at trace. The lye is still very active at this point and it will take whatever it wants. There is no guarantee that any particular oil will end up as your superfat. Exception to this is if you HP soap, then add the oil or butter AFTER the cook. Since Meadowfoam is not cheap, I would save it for lotions or creams to get the best benefit.
