I'm making a coconut soap with coconut milk and I was wondering if I could add coconut flakes as an exfoliant?

I've never tried. I would think they would pick up moisture and get soggy.

I tried it and it did not work for me, I use white cp soap shreds and they look just like coconut, people love them, Soapbuddy suggested it to me a while back.

No I have'nt found a coconut fragrance oil that sticks yet but I'm still searching!

Try a combination of 2 parts coconut fragrance oil and 1 part peppermint essential oil. It smells great and the scent lasts.

The soap I used the combination in was made before Christmas and it is still an off white, not really a cream color, but almost.
