Hi all...I just made my first batch of CP soap. I made a pretty whippy top after I poured it into the mold and it looked great. I then put seran wrap and a towel over it like everyone says to do and it is melting & my pretty light purple is turning a dark purple??? What am I doing wrong? Is it ok to leave the soap in a dark place to cool for 24 hours without covering it so my top doesn't melt? :cry:

When soap gels it goes darker and softer. It should lighten back up as it cools. Unless you know that your soap gets ash, I would leave it as is.
