I am not sure if you would be able to do that with MP or not... it would be difficult catching it at just the right time.

For rebatch or CP I have seen people use spoons, potato mashers, whisks, anything like that. I think whisks work the best, but it depends what look you are going for. Just wait until it is at a pretty thick trace. Then since you waited so long for it to thicken you will want to insulate it right away!

I am pretty sure that Anne-Marie did a post about different ways to do this on her blog but am not finding it right now. I will keep looking and post it when I find it.

Thank you ladies for your help. I did think that mp wouldnt do it, otherwise someone would have pictures of it or an explanation somewhere! I agree with you Bramble Momma it would be hard to catch mp at just the right time. I also couldnt find any information on texturing the top on any cp tutorials either, most of the tutorials tell you to flatten the top down!!

Magic Hands thank you for telling me you used a butter knife. I like the effect but I would never have thought of a straw! I will have another try but I think the mp wont do it and the rebatch well it looked like a more grubby rebatch than normal and that really isnt pretty believe me. The texture is really smooth but the brown coupled with the grubbied top definitey isnt doing it for me!

Thanks again for helping me out. I will give it one more try and then admit defeat I think.
