Hi has anyone every tried using ground peppercorns as an exfoliant in cold process soap. I want to have a go but a bit worried about pepper on the skin.
Any thoughts out there.

I think they would be scratchy, not to mention maybe an irritant. I don't think I'd want to use a soap with ground pepper in it, not when there are other more gentle exfoliants that can be used. But, that is just my opinion. You can always make a very small batch and try it. :P
