Will I notice the difference beteen a 5 and 7% superfatted soap. I notice most of Anne-Maries soaps are 5%

Personally I would not go over 5% superfat. One time I miss measured and got too much oil in the pot and I recalculated the whole batch again and it came out 7% superfat. That batch feels oily to me and I'm not liking it. I've been doing 3 to 4% superfat lately.

I did my first few batches at 5%, but I like moisturizing soap and 5% wasnt enough for me so I upped it to 7% per a reccomendation from Soapbuddy. Ive been very happy with it so far, so I guess it depends on your skin or the people that will be using it.

I have found that how much and what type of difference it makes depends on your recipe. Some I like at 4%, some at 5%, some at 7% and some at 10%. I have not gone above that yet. Try different recipes at different discounts and see what works best for that recipe.

Don't ask why but I always worry about the bubbles! So far 7% has still been ok for me.

Another vote for 7%!

I notice a difference too and I prefer the higher SF.
