Hello everyone, I just cut my batch I made last night and to my surprise the Vanilla Select did not discolor the soap. My Shea Butter is a "yellow" butter so I'm wondering if that had anything to do with it. One thing is for sure, the soap looks reallly moisturizing! I wonder if it will turn brown in a few weeks??

it doesnt happen right away, but as it cures it will discolor, if you used it with out the stablizer.

I've got to try that stabilizer sometime. Does it really work? Actually, I had some soap I fragranced with BB Relaxing so it turned pretty brown. I thought no one would want it and it has ended up being everyones favorite.

Congrats! Vanilla soaps usually start out yellow. As the air hits them and they cure, they discolor to brown.
