Teach Soap

From what I understand it is ok to shrink wrap CP soap after it is fully cured. I am thinking of doing this with mine and then adding a cigar band with label. I thought I would check here before doing so. Does any one have a recommendation of where to get the supplies and such?

500 5x7 shrink wrap bags for under $10 and that includes delivery to your door within 72 hours. Found this guy on ebay a few years ago and still buy from him. A $10 heat gun from the local hardware store will shrink wrap a bar of soap in about 10 seconds.

Is it a good idea to then totally seal up the CP soap in shrink wrap?

I've been doing it for over 6 years and never had a problem. I allow them to thoroughly cure then shrink wrap them. At craft shows, I gently open a sample bar at the end so people can smell. It's quick, inexpensive and retains the fragrance for a very long time.....and it works for me.

Thanks I will check into those both! I am a print broker so I do have the label part covered! Soooo many advantages to that!! I doesn't matter to me if you can smell the scent through the bag. I like samples people can pick up, feel and smell, so I just leave some naked.

Sorry, one more question. Do goat milk soaps need to be able to breathe?

No more than other non-GM soaps. At least none that I've ever noticed.
