I make HP soap... have been for years but CP soaps are so much prettier. I'm now wanting to go for color and swirls. But every time I try CP I get ash. Is there something I can put in my recipe that keeps it away? I'm desperate for pretty soaps!

I cover mine up tight and keep it covered till I cut it and after I cut it I wrap it in plastic wrap for a few more days. you'll notice the ash is on the exposed side of the soap.

Try adding beeswax to your recipe at around 1%.
