Teach Soap

I didn't want to dig up an old (8 page long) thread, but had a quick question about salt bars. Magic Hands said they need to be shrink wrapped or wrapped in Saran Wrap. But, when? After cure or right away? I would think they need to cure first, but wanted to be sure.
Living in Denver, it's pretty dry, so I'm not too worried about them sweating, but I just thought I'd ask.

Oh and Soapbuddy, you're right! These things are hard enough to use in self defense! Since this is the first time making them, I used the BB 12 bar silicone mold, their new one. It was perfect! I didn't want to have to deal with crumbly rocks

PS Magic did her cp salt bars in shrink wrap and I have a few of them. Wonderful soaps.

I did not shrink wrap mine... must have missed that part!~ I wonder, is it done so the bars do not dry our any further? I have not been in love with my salt bar...found it too drying for my skin. You were smart to use a divided mold.

I think they were shrink wrapped for presentation packaging and wholesale purposes.
