Teach Soap

I've always used plastic wrap to cover my soap molds (not that I'm an expert hehe ok, so far in my soapmaking experience I've only made 3 batches of soap hehe)
Anyway, today I made a little test batch and used a little rubbermaid food container as a mold.
My doubt is, can I use the lid to cover the soap or should I use my trusted plastic wrap?

My other question is regarding infused oils.
I just had to peel lemons and don't want to throw away the lemon rind. I want to make an infused oil with it. But which method is better, using heat or maceration for days?
Would this lemon infused oil work in cp soap?

I used a lid when i used tupperwear but it was very small batch, everything turned out fine.

I would go with either the saran or the lid. I would infuse the lemon rind into one of your soapmaking oils via a crock pot. Be aware that the scent might not come through in soap.

Regarding the lemon infused oil, does the heat in the crock pot make the oil go rancid faster?
I was thinking on using it for the astrigent properties not so much for the scent. Do you think it would be useful and safe in soap?
