Is it possible to use melt and pour pieces in cold process?

Sure! I do it.

I have done it and purchased it. Usually I will use one or the other as an imbed or a topper. The bars I purchased (before starting on this journey of my own) had a lot of CP imbedded in melt and pour... it gradually came apart in separate pieces. I think the use rate of the two soaps were different.

My soaps are CP with MP embeds. I have had no problems with the two separating.

I have not done alot of embeds but of the ones I did it was always M&P into CP (or CP into CP)... did not have a problem with them... but then my embeds are on the smaller size. The ones I purchased at a farmers market was M&P with CP soap embeds.... they came apart after about 10 days of use each time. Don't know why there would be a difference... maybe someday I will try one like it and watch the results. I no longer remember how they were packaged.. maybe that had something to do with it?

I love your idea of swirling M&P into CP... maybe I would be better at that then regular swirls... I will put it on my list of things to try... THANKS!

WOW. I am anxious to try the swirling. So far my swirlings is very "mushy". Kind of nice in its own way but not swirling

I love the look of that. The M&P almost looks like it becomes part of the CP. Another question if I may? Did you fragrance the M&P soap? If so - the same or different? TIA
