Teach Soap

Just made a batch of orange\patch soap... got my recipe amounts from soap calc, did all the measurements exact... but something seemed off. I decided not to listen to my gut because I had a printed recipe in hand. Then when I went to pour it only filled my mold about 2/3! What happened was that I did not change the 1 pound of oils in step 2 to a 2, so I made less. Except I scented for 2 pounds of oil Guess this is one soap that will not loose its scent. May have to try a rebatch?? I have nearly done this a couple of times- I see the 'step 2' and my mind sees it as 2 pounds. Lesson learnt - I hope!

Just as long as you had the correct amount of oils for the correct amount of lye I wouldn't worry about it.
