Teach Soap

Hi, All!
I don't know if any of you have come across this Guild but, if not, please take a look at their web site: http://www.gcstm.co.uk. This is a new Guild, set up to give those of us who are responsible and Safety Assessed soap makers a voice, as well as to give us the means to identify ourselves as such when we're selling our products to the public. I can't be the only person on this forum who's been at a craft market with people selling unlabeled, anonymous soaps and bath products, and the purpose of the Guild is to make the public aware of the fact that they should only be buying products from Safety Assessed and insured makers. The Guild is free to join, and its ambition is to become large enough to become a voice which is heard in respect of future legislation and enforcement of standards. Please take a look at it.

Today, 31 August ... membership is growing, so thank you all for viewing/joining. It really does matter that those of us out there (and I'm obviously talking on behalf of UK soapers) can demonstrate that we're selling safe soap ... the more of you, the merrier - and the more of a voice we'll have when it comes to future legislation. Keep smiling!
