Teach Soap

Hi. Last night I made a batch of goat milk soap and I added the NaOH to the milk very carefully and slowly to keep the temp at about 80. I poured the soap into a Pringles can (my very first time using one!) and let it sit for the night.

My soaping shop is not at the same place as where I live, so I could not check on it after I left. This morning the soap had grown about a half inch out of the mold, so I know that it overheated. So I was wondering, with this soap would it be okay to stick it in the freezer right after pouring? And if so, can it be left in the freezer overnight?

I've made a goat's milk soap before that I put directly into my fridge after making it and keep in there for about 12-24 hours and haven't had a problem. Maybe others will chime in.

I prefer not to gel, so my soaps go either in the fridge or the freezer. They are safe in there overnight. Once I left a batch of soap in the freezer for a couple of days. It was fine.

I read a description of a soap the other day and the ingredients list said sodium peroxide. Now I wonder what type of measuring skills this person has, and would I be interested in their soaps, I don't think so.
