Hi folks, If you were making a foot soap say to go in a gift pack( with my foot butter) what would you put in it? Im thinking peppermint EO, but then ??? would you use oatmeal? pumice? Mango or shea butter?? almond oil? I have all these things but I've never made this before. Maybe some tea tree oil?I appreciate your thoughts.

I never made 'foot soap', but if I was to look to buy one I would want pumice for sure and I like the idea of tea tree because of its strong scent and good for the skin qualities. I do get lots of positive feedback when I add lavender to my tea tree. Leave out the butters, you say you are going to do a foot butter anyway. I like to exfoliate my feet and then pamper them!

I'd include oils high in oleic and stearic acids, and probably linoleic too. Olive, rice bran, sweet almond, apricot kernel, avocado, soybean, and sunflower oils would all be good.

Ground up loofah would be a good choice along with some menthol.

I like pumice on the bottoms of my feet, some prefer the softer feeling of ground loofah. I think both will work, just depends on the person and how sensitive their skin is. :D
