made my first batch of cp yesterday. Everything went great. Today I went to take it out of the mold
(wooden) and the lid is stuck to the soap. guess I overfilled. Any hints or tips?

Ran a knife in between the lid and soap and was able to get it off. Hubby is making me a miter box
as I type. Can't wait to see the cut bars. Scented with sweetgrass and added lavender buds. Tried an in the pot swirl
which didn't come out too bad - just didn't get it all the way to the bottom about 3/4. For a first attempt i am very happy!

Tonight after kids go to bed will do a mango/papaya - love that scent. Also want to do a green tea. Can you make tea and
use that instead of plain water with your lye? Would I have to strain it or could I leave the tea bits as I would be adding
more later anyway?

Thanks for all the help. You guys are awesome!!

Put a piece of wax paper between the top of the soap and the lid. That should help with the soap not sticking.
You can sub 100% of tea instead of the water. You don't have to strain it, but be aware that those bits will end up brown.
