Hello,

I am inspired this weekend to make more soap. I did a batch this morning & it's in the gel stage now

I would like to try a batch tomorrow without palm. I'm thinking 30% coconut along with other oils & butters (olive, avocado, shea, sweet almond to name a few). At what percentage should I superfat so the end result is a non-drying bar, but not too soft either? Any suggestions is always appreciated!

Soap that's over 20% in coconut I find drying. The exception to this is 100% coconut with 20% superfat.

I agree with Soapbuddy. Not sure what your market is, but here in the desert, way too drying even with the other nice oils.
