I wrote a thread about this soap before, it came out with yellow patches. Here's the link



Well, I took it into the bathroom tonight to try. Great bubble, but it was like slime after I put it in the soap dish. Here's some photos.



I've never had a soap melt like this. Is it because it's almost a castille and needs more cure time? I did this recipe CPOP, so it should have been cured a little. Any advice would be appreciated.

Almost castille is usually a little slimey. Even with HP, the longer you can wait, the better the soap usually is. The newer the soap is, the easier the soap dissolves. If all your measurements were correct, give it at least another couple of weeks. 5% superfat is not much. I would have done 7-8% superfat.
