how do i use goat milk powder in CP?

Some people add it to their mixed & cooled off oils then stick blend. Some make a slurry out of it and add it at trace.

I use powdered GM all the time. I reconstitute it according to directions on the can. I subtract the amount of liquid GM from the water amount and add it after the lye is incorporated but before trace.

When you have your receipe, just sustitute GM for 1/3 to 1/2 of the water called for.

this is how I do it. I use 1/2 the water called for in the recipe to disolve the lye. then mix the GM powder at twice the reccomended amount and add that at trace. Say a 2 lb recipe calls for 8 oz. of water . I take 4 oz. of water for the lye and take the other 4 oz. and put in enough GM powder to make a full cup (8 oz.) I think with the GM I use it's like 4 level tbsp. That way no orange color , or burned soap. My soap comes out a nice, creamy color every time. Good luck

GM soap is creamy and silky. It's very nice on the skin.

It's Vitacost.com. It's a reliable company. US based, not an MLM. I've bought from them for a couple of years. I think what she's talking about is canned, evaporated goat milk although I'd have to check their site. Didn't know they had it.
