Here's a bar of the Mardi Gras soap batch I made last weekend. It's scented with Cinnabon, so it smells like King Cake.

Thanks guys, I got the idea from the Valentine soap that Anne-Marie did. I used her recipe for the heart and made black with white swirl and just cut into a long strip and embedded it like a diamond. Thanks for the great idea. I actually poured the soap vertically, just took the photo the other way.

What a nice soap and I had no idea King Cake smelled like cinnabun, such a cute inside surprise like the baby in the king cake! Yum

King Cake is basically a braided cinnamon roll, but now they stuff them with alot of different things (cream cheese, strawberrry, raspberry or other flavors). I thought about putting plastic babies in there, but figured they would scratch people when they got to them in the soap! And i couldn't figure out how to make a small fleur de lis in there, either.
