Does anyone have a basic recipe for Liquid CP soap. I want to experiment beyond bar soaps and am a bit unsure is simply adding additional liquid at trace is a viable way to make a regular CP soap into a useable liquid soap. Any input would be helpful. Thanks

I make liquid soap, but I cook it in the crock pot. Regular CP soap will not work as a liquid soap. When you add enough water to CP soap, it will become snotty and slimey. You also need potassium hydroxide, not sodium hydroxide. I don't have a recipe for you, but I'm sure you can find some online.

Does anyone know if fragrance sticks better in liquid soap? My dh got some liquid soap for christmas from my mom (no, not handmade, yes, she doesn't get it) and he really likes it. He prefers liquid soap at the sink and a bar in the shower. So, he told me I should learn how to make liquid soap. OKAY! You don't have to tell me twice. So, he wants a lemon scented and I don't know if it will fade or not. By the way, the one he got was lemon and very heavily scented. Thanks.
