It's me again lol soapbuddy talked me out of cheating by using leftover candle color, so I searched around and found a site that offers 1oz of oxides and ultramarines for around $3.00. My question is does anyone have any experience with which colors of them definitely morph and don't stay the color they're supposed to be? And also, about how much do you use per 4lb batch of soap? (I know that the color is a personal preference...but what would be a good starting point?)
Thanks so much! You guys are definitely easing my way into attempting my first batch without a disaster lol

I've used pretty much all of them. Depending on your recipe, the yellow will give you a muted mustard yellow, the red* (unless you use too much) will give you more of a pinkish color, the green stays a pretty green, the pink will give you a pink with bluish tones, hydrated chromium green will give you a great teal and ultramarine blue will give you blue.

*If you use too much red, it will color a washcloth or your tub and will look like you sustained a serious injury.
