Teach Soap

I have 2 questions. I've seen some soaps that have "curled" soap shavings on top. How is this done? I've tried using a veggie peeler but I am not having any luck. The bar I tried peeling was one that I cut yesterday so it was still pretty soft.

I've also seen some honey type soaps that have a bee hive look on top. Someone told me that they used bubble wrap to get that look. I've tried this as well and am not successful.

Any tips or advice on these would be sooo appreciated. Thank you so much everyone

A veggie peeler will work better if the soap is older. I've used the small "bubbles" bubble wrap. After I poured the soap into the mold, I put the bubble wrap (pre-cut) right on top of the soap.

Im glad you said that Soapbuddy, I thought the bubble wrap went on the bottom of the mold. Does the soap heating up in the mold melt the bubble wrap? Do you have to prevent gel?
