Teach Soap

After I had time for making about 7 batches of soap ,I found these question could you please give me the answer please...
1.What is the sign that let us know that the soap was completely cured except for the time.
2.What is gel state and should we prevent them from being occur? and what is the benefit from being prevent the gel state and how to prevent it?.

How do you prevent gel state? I thought the soap HAD to go through that in order to saponify?

Soap does not need to gel in order for it to become soap. Gelling just speeds up the saponification process. In order for me to prevent gel, I don't insulate, or I put my soap in the fridge or the freezer; up to overnight. If you are new to soapmaking, I would gell your soaps, til you become comfortable with the whole process.

Interesting! I have made a few batches but it's been a while. I might have to try that method just for kicks!
