Teach Soap

I mentioned in my last post that I am making soap favors for my sister's baby shower. I cut the first batch of soap this morning and put together a prototype of the favors. I think I need to pick up a different background paper as this one doesn't match the green in the owl, but all in all, I'm happy with them. I used a silicone loaf mold that had a tapered shape. I would have rather had regular rectangular shaped bars but I am not going to worry about it....no time to!

Nice packaging.

Looks great! The green paper may not be an exact match with the owl's green wings but it fits the color scheme and overall theme. I think it's charming. Besides, people don't know that's not the look you're going for unless you tell them. Nice cigar band label!

Thanks all. justkate....I think you are right about the green. Looking at it in person, the green isn't even as off as it appears to be in the photo. Now I just need to let them cure and put them all together! Yay!
