Teach Soap

Hello,

here comes my first and very stupid question

I want to order Crystal Natural Soap Base.
I understand that this is already "ready" soap base and I have to just melt it, add some additions.
But do I have to add all kinds of butters also like in caustic soda? Like shea butter for example?
And would the suppliers send it by post? Or is it "dangerous delivery"?

You use it as is. You can add a little bit of shea butter, but don't add too much, otherwise you will loose bubbles. This is a pre-made base, so caustic soda has already been saponified. You should have no problems with shipping.

Some questions more.

How do you call that pre-made soap base in forum?

So all kind of receipts (how much olis,shea butter, palmoil...) are for soapmaking from caustic soda?

Where do I get info, how much colorant and other additions I have to add to soap base?

And what are using forum users mostly- soap base that is ready to use or caustic soda?
