Teach Soap

Hi there Ladies, I've been tip toeing around here for awhile so I thought I'd say Hi and ask a few questions. I make HP soap so I don't have it laying around so long since I'm in a small apartment. And soon my DH and I might move into an RV. We want to travel around and sell at swap meets and small craft shows. Well, I have been doing HP for years but as some of you know, they don't swirl so well. Also, I have trouble with coloring. They seem to morph into different colors. Which kind of colors are good for HP soap?

The CP soaps that have been comming out are absolutley gorgeous! The colors and swirls are vibrant. I'm jealous! I tried to make CP soap and I had little white specks on the top. Thats happened before. Could it be my recipe? I think its mold or something. Oh well, not a great loss since it was an ugly color anyway. I do love my earthy looking HP soaps but I'm really ready to add some different stuff. If we do the RV thing, I can store my soaps in our storage rental. I've seen some beautiful soaps on this forum! Did you use Stearic Acid in your recipe?

Depending which colors you use, yes they can morph. For example FD&C Blue #1 will turn to purple in soap. What colors are you using now?
