I see alot of recipes with Canola oil in them, even on this site. But with the DOS problems what is the best substitute? I think this is one of the resons I got that terrible smell in my last batch of soap even though it was a brand new bottle of canola oil Nicki

I would recalculate your recipe and include soybean instead.

I use sunflower as I've heard of the canola/DOS problems. Works great!
