I've used grapeseed for first time in recipe, and the soap is too soft two days after:

25% Coconut
20% Palm
5% castor
25% olive
25% grapeseed

added 1/4 tsp of um pink and 1.5 tsp of td (total weight of oils is roughly 1.1kg)

is it going to harden? or should I just shred it and cook it?

25% grapeseed is what made this soap soft. I would shred it and add it to another batch with a different recipe.

oh , thank you.

I thought I could get away with it - when I did same thing with sunflower soap, I HP'd it and it turned out hard after 2 days of curing.... ok this one is going to the shredder.

Sunflower has a different SAP value then grapeseed. Don't forget to recalculate your recipe if you change any of your oils.

I did, just didn't pay attention to the hardness.

I am wondering if I can rebatch it by recalculating the recipe with what is and adding more hard oils like cnut or palm.... It's so soft I can shred it - melt it - add the coconut and additional lye?

i was just thinking a liquid gel would be great for this project... great for the shower with the grapeseed added...
