 Post subject: Basic White Soap

Hello all,
I have done so much research to find a 'White soap' recipe and everyone I try turns either dusty pink or a dirty grey colour. What am I doing wrong? I do not have any Titanium Dioxode to make sure it will be white and rely only on Palm, Coconut, Veg. shortening, castor, and shea butter. Specialy did not add Olive incase it is the culprit.
I put my recipe through my favourite Lye calculator i.e. Essential7.com. This is David Fisher's recipe - beautiful soap, but not white.
Any suggestions?

The lighter your oils or butters the lighter the soap will be. Extra light olive oil, tallow or soybean, refined mango or shea......you get the idea. :)
