I have been using the following recipe for a large batch and would like feedback, should I change anything? The bars seem fine and cut fine. Should I change anything to make a better bar  I do gel and I soap at approx. 110 deg.
30 oz each of sunflower oil, almond oil, palm oil
20 oz coconut oil
15.182 sodium hydroxide
36.30 oz water

and would 4 oz. of EO be to much or too little?

Thanks so much in advance.

It depends on which EO you're using - for some, that would be too much (peppermint, for example) and for some it would be too little (citruses).

And it's hard to say what would make a better bar, because everyone has a different idea of what makes a soap great - I'd do smaller batches, and test different oil combinations until I found the one I liked the best.

I will say that your recipe is VERY different from mine - but that doesn't mean that one of us is wrong, it just means that we have different preferences. Which is fine - variety is a good thing!

Thanks so much for the reply, I guess if you didn't notice anything that jumped out at you that I should change, I will continue to use it. I do like the bubbles and the texture of the soap and it works with goats milk as well. I do need to venture out of my comfort zone and try new recipes. Thanks again and I just love all the information from this forum :P
