Thought I'd post my Tea Tree Soap I made:

This is a picture of it in the mold:

Very pretty! Is it scented with Tea Tree oil?

That's lovely

I made a tea tree & eucalyptus eo scented soap a while ago which is great to use this time of year (winter here)

What do you line your mould with?

Soapchick: That is so pretty and looks so refreshing. I would love to know when and how to add texture to my soap. The one time I tried it, I didn't cover the soap and wound up with white, dusty watchamacallit on the top, so I wound up slicing it off, texture and all.

Thanks, it's scented with Tea Tree oil. The mold is lined with dark brown parchment paper and I also have some white parchment as well that I also use to line my mold. This was a smaller batch so used a smaller mold.

scents,

My soap went to thick trace and so when it was in the mold it was really thick and I just textured the top at that point. I sometimes cover my soap and sometimes I don't.

Thanks, Soapchick. I'll try that with my next batch. I've been doing thinner traces lately to get all my additives mixed; so now I'll go to a thick trace after and try the textured look again. Yours looks terrific.

I love the way your soap looks. It is fantastic. I made my first Tea Tree soap, err I mean shampoo a month or 2 ago. Here is a pic of my effort. Not as pretty as those first bars.

Have a great day everyone!

This soap is beautiful, I am still working on swirls too. But my question is, what would be a good combination to add to the BB tree tea oil (I must admit, I do not like the scent). Will customers prefer it plain and I should just get over it?

My friends and family are asking constantly for my lavender tea tree soaps. I like them too. Gentle and fresh fragrance. Give it a shot! :)
