I'm not sure if you guys have been to LUSH before, they sell mainly all kinds of "hand made" soaps.
Anyway, I was always under the impression that these were all CP soaps, the prices are really steep and the soaps look like CP. I purchased a couple bars about a month ago, and although they do smell really nice, they melt super fast. I don't even use it every time I shower and one bar is already half way gone. That made me curious so I went to their website to see ingredients and all the soaps I looked at has SLS in them. I know CP does not contain SLS, but M&P soap does... Now I feel jipped because I payed almost $15.00 for one of their 5 oz bars. That just seems like a lot now that I know more about soap. I'm sure there are lots of fancy pants M&P soaps pretending to be CP. :shock:

Unless they're just adding SLS to make more lather? I've never seen that before though.

It is not CP soap. They are MP bars. Most people off the street don't know the difference and go for the color or the smell. Plus their ingredient list is incomplete.

I was just checking out Lush's web site. OMG! Did you notice whats all in their soap? If you didn't make CP from scratch you wouldn't know all the chemicals in their soap.
By the way did you all see the artical on the web this week about Johnson and Johnson Baby Shampoo
containing formaldihide?

I've been in Lush a couple times, but the overly "helpful" staff and expensive prices have prevented me from buying anything. I had no idea it was M&P! I guess unless something is specifically labeled cold process you have to assume it's not. Thanks for the info.
