Hi all-

I just got some high ph basic 12 labcolors. I can't wait to use them. I don't have preserative, so i won't be diluting and have to use it concentrated.

I'm not sure of the ratio between 1 drop of color to weight of raw soap. Could someone tell me the best way? I only make 2-3lb batches. What do you think the maximum rate would be?

It really depends how dark you want your soap to be. Start with a couple of drops per lb. of soap and take it from there. :)

Fuschia is especially powerful - and the color doesn't develop right away, so it's very easy to add too much, thinking you have a pale pink soap. I've accidentally made soap you could see from space. If you opened the mold, it would keep you awake at night. Bright, seriously bright. Like this. only more so.
