Teach Soap

Hi everyone!
I lurk around in other soaping forums and I have noticed that they
have soap swaps and I thought maybe that would be something we could do on this
forum..Share our soap and get honest feedback on where we can improve, etc.

Is this something that is possible?

ooh that sounds like fuun!

I would be interested in a soap exchange. I have been making just since January of this year, and I'd really like to get some feedback on some of my bars of soap. I will have to get busy and make some more batches. I seem to get rid of the batches when they have cured.

This idea is really appealing. I have been making soap, based on books, internet information and help from this forum. My soap collection is growing. While friends and family enjoy it, I haven't yet met anyone else locally who makes soap. So feedback and the chance to see other soaps from obvious experts would be terrific.

I would totally be interested in that. I am not super experienced but would love to get feed back and see what others soap is like, so count me in!

Me, too! I would love to do an exchange. I have only been soaping for a few months, but I make something almost every day. I'm clearly addicted, but we don't have to discuss that now.

I don't know how we can go about getting something done...

Well -

How this generally works, is that one of the people will act as hostess for the swap. That person will be responsible for the sign ups, deadlines, receiving everyone's packages, and mailing things back out to the participants.

I'm up to my garters in gators at the moment, and cannot possibly do it - Jessy, if you want to, since you had the idea, I'd be glad to walk you through it. If you guys would like me to be the hostess, you'll have to hang on for a few weeks until I get some breathing room.

I make small batches at a time, so if we're talking mailing 10 bars at once, then I'll need notification so that I can plan on having that many on hand, if that's ok.
