another question from me!
I've used my soaps that have been curing for 4 weeks.
when I leave it wet on the soap drainer, I notice that
after some time a thin layer of liquid oil seperates and
sits on the soap
looks like it's oil separation from the bar.
Is it because the soaps are not ready to use yet??

It depends what your recipe is, how much you superfatted or what method of soaping you used. How old is this soap?

cold process method and they are 4 weeks old.
I used olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, grapeseed oil, canola oil
peppermint eo, infused peppermint, ground peppermint.

Is it humid where you are? It could be glycerin coming out of your soap.

I forgot to say I used 5% superfatting.
No actually it's not humid where I am.

Ok, try this; wet your finger, then put your finger on this oil. Touch it to your tongue. Does it zap?

It's just doesn't look very good and normal in soaps specially that I'm going to sell my soaps
I don't know what to say to my customers if they ask about it,lol :? :?:

I just had a thought. Could this be a result of my oils being
almost all liquid except coconut oil (my palm is also liquid) ?

Could it be that the soap is not drying? I took a couple of bars with me when dh and I went to California a couple of weeks ago. They just would not dry in that shower and I got a layer on top of my soaps just like you are describing. Now that we are back home and my soaps are sitting in my regular soap holder, they are just fine. I was stupified by that layer too. Try letting it sit in a dry area for a day and see what happens.
