If I have a whole house filter, can I use this water in CP soapmaking or does it have to be certified purified water?

The only time I buy distilled water is when I make lotion.

Same here. I have only made 9 CP batches, but I use filtered water. I save the distilled for my skin creams.

We must have not so good water here because when I use regular tap water, there is always little brown floaties in it. If I use distilled, everything is fine. I haven't tried filtered yet. I don't know why, I have a filter on my kitchen sink. Guess I will do that and see how it works out for me.

That's what I do but it is a pain in the you know what. I am just gonna try filtered. It is just as easy as tap.
