Can anyone recommend a good kitchen scale for soaping? Maybe in the $50 or less price range? I recently bought a Tyler Lithium scale and it's making me crazy! It keeps shutting off when I'm in the middle of weighing something. Thanks!

I just bought one from a guy in Oklahoma. It's a "my weigh" scale for soapmaking. I paid $79 for it, it take me out 3 places from the percent point. He has a scale for around $45 that takes you out 2 places from the percent pt for ounces. I'll try and find the website for you and let you know, if you're interested.

okay, found the website: www.oldwillknottscales.com I am very happy with the one I bought. Had everything I was looking for. I like this site because he has all the specs of the scales for you to compare. Good luck.

SpottedCat, I've been checking out some of the scales on that website for a while now and I'm overwhelmed with all of the choices. How did you choose? And can I ask which model you bought?

I bought the iBALANCE 700. It seemed to be the best choice for me and I'm very pleased with it.
