Hi all - I tried my first attempt at putting my mold in the refrig. I made it yesterday afternoon. It went into the refrig around 430pm. I took it out at 10:30pm before I went to bed. I have 3 curious cats here, so I set it on the counter and put the wooden lid on top of the mold to keep the cats from stepping in it (they have done that before). When I took the top off of it this morning I felt it and it felt a little warm, not much but it was warm. Is this soap going to be okay? :roll:

You're welcome. Be aware that non gel soaps take longer to completely saponify.

Usually gelled soap are not caustic after 24 hours. It may take the same batch, but ungelled up to 48 hours. You might be able to cut it, but if you get some soap crumbs on yourself, they could sting.
