I am wondering if oxide powders can be mixed to make different shades? Or are these one time colorants?

I feel like these may just be restricted to one solid color or marbling/swirling techniques.

I mix mine all the time. If you get a sample kit of the powdered oxide like I did there is lots of color vareations you can blend from that . It takes practice and a little luck when you first start making your own custom colors but its pretty cool too. I use to be a cake decorator so I mixed iceing colors everyday. Maybe that hepled me be more comfortable trying the same thing with soap.

Oxides are totally mixable! There are a TON of colors/shades you can make.
