Teach Soap

I am going to try my 4th batch of cp this afternoon. This is my recipe:

3oz Castor Oil
10oz Coconut Oil
12oz Olive Oil
8oz Palm Oil
3oz Shea Butter

Does this sound okay? I'm going to use Wild Honeysuckle & Green Fig for fragrance and 1TBSP Pink Kaolin clay for color.

I would say you have too much castor in there.

Castor Oil 3oz. 8.33%
Coconut Oil 10oz. 27.78%
Olive Oil 12oz. 33.33%
Palm Oil 8ozs. 22.22%
Shea Butter 3ozs. 8.3%
Total Weight 36ozs.

I would lower the castor to 3-5%. Add the difference to either the Olive or the Palm. Also, the Coconut might be a tad drying as it's over 20%, but that would depend on skin type.

Ok, does this sound better?

1oz Castor - I wanted to use this to incorporate the clay at trace, does that sound like a good idea or should i use 1oz of glycerin?

14oz Olive
