Hi, A while back, I made some soap. I thought I had messed that loaf up because it was talking a while to unmold. It just seemed like it was wet. It fooled me because I waited a little too long to un-mold and wound up hacking into the loaf with a knife. When I finally decided to get around using it I accidentally dropped it in the water. It floated! None of my bars float. I am aware that you can whip the soap to make it float but there is not even one hint of a tiny bubble in the bar nor any bubbles and the only thing I did different then all other loaf's was add a capful of glycerin to see what happens and low and behold - it floats!
Is anybody aware of other ways to make soap float other then whipping? I have tried to do it on purpose since then but can't seem to repeat it. However, I haven't used glycerin either.
