Hello soapy darlings!

Today I made a cp soap and wanted to do a gold drizzle on a dark navy blue soap. I haven't done it in a long, long time and forgot what to mix my mica with. I want it to make indentations in the soap when cured and not sit in a bead on top of the soap if that makes sense.

Any ideas what oils to mix the mica in? I tried glycerin and that was too thick, and Soap Queen suggest sunflower or almond oils but it seems so thin and runny to me I don't want to try that. I must sound like goldie locks sorry!

Maybe mix the mica with some alcohol?

I use whatever my clearest oil in my soap base is. If I think about it ahead of time that is. Otherwise I use sweet almond oil because it is always out since I use it for multiple projects and its is a nice light carrier oil.
Remember when you are adding the mica you are creating a suspension so the drizzle will be thicker depending on the amount of mica you add to the oil.
