So I am finding a lot of information about different oils shelf life, what they do in soap, (lather, hard bar, etc) and suggested % not to exceed in a recipe, but I cannot find anything with that kind of information on Aloe Vera or Vitamin E. Any suggestions??

Aloe vera juice (not the gel) can be used up to 100% as a sub for water.
Vitamin E gets eaten up by the lye due to the high pH.

What I have says Aloe Vera Oil. Is that the same as juice?

Oil is not the same as the juice. Do you have the INCI? I looked at both The Sage Lye calc and the Soap Calc. Neither one has aloe oil listed. Where did you get it from?

I don't know what an INCI is, and I honestly don't know where I got it lol. Either Bulk Apothecary, or Amazon. It says: ''Dr. Adorable inc. 100% pure organic, aloe Vera oil. Aloe barbadensis '

INCI is International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI). Unless you know what it is exactly, I would not use it in soap or lotion. Pure Aloe is only water soluble and has no oil.

I know this conversation was posted over a year ago, but for anyone who might be interested, I too ordered Aloe Vera oil, advertised as 100% pure organic Aloe Vera oil, which is not listed on any soap calculators. After researching, I found that pure Aloe Vera oil does not exist. The Aloe Vera gel or juice must be mixed with a carrier oil to create Aloe Vera oil. I contacted the distributor and relayed this information and asked what oil was used in the manufacturing of their Aloe Vera oil and found that soybean oil was used. Most Aloe Vera oils are made with soybean oil, sometimes almond oil.
Faulty advertising?
