Teach Soap

Hey peeps!
This is my first post I have been reading along for a while now and since it's coming up to Christmas I would hugely appreciate some tips for making some soaps as gifts.

Predominantly I wanted some pointers on piping soap, as when I have tried it, it has been messy and time consuming and found the piping bag very frustrating to refill because the consistency to pipe needs to be quite firm. I also just wanted to pipe non Mr. Whippy highly realistic poops as well (more like logs), just to mix it up

I am new to CP soap making, having made 7 batches with mixed success. I have predominantly used the standard three oil formula (coconut, palm, olive) for amateurs. But I also want to start adding a few more soft oils in in conjunction with sodium lactate.

Any help or discussion would be great

I have done a number of batches now just messing around with the concept of poop soaps for fun.

A few batches have come up like this. It seems like soda ash- but deeper- I have tried washing it off in distilled water but it hasn't been effective. What else could this be?

I was thinking perhaps my oils and lye weren't at the same temperatures (Both 50 degrees Celsius), but in hindsight they'd only be a degree or two apart.

Then I have been insulating my soaps in foam boxes- instead of cardboard with towels.

Any thoughts or help would be hugely appreciated.

I know this is a bit left field, haha
