Teach Soap

I have read quite a few posts about lavendar buds turning brown (mouse poop) and that there is nothing at all to do about it.
Of course, I read all these wonderful posts AFTER buying a bag of really nice looking and smelling buds that can't be returned!
Any ideas how I can use these in CP soap and still have it look nice?
I'm thinking of a rustic kind of look - with some oatmeal and lots of cocoa butter and other butters - so I have a really nice, soft soap yet rustic looking.
Do you think that would work? Or does the lavendar always just end up looking icky??

AS lavender EO can really heat up soap I put my mold into a fridge or even freezer once I've poured my soap. I have found that this keeps most of the lavender buds on top from burning but not sure how it would react to buds stirred into soap

I have made hundreds of Lavender soap using lavender buds blitzed through the mix. I have put them on top of my CP soap, but don't like the discolouring, however blitzed or folded through they do give a nice rustic look.....also I have never had a problem with EO in my soap.

Put them through a grinder or blender and make a powder. Then add that powder to your soap.

I use the blender I have for food. I don't think I want to use that for the lavender buds. What do you think?
I dont really want to buy a blender specially for this.
I tried using my stick blender but that didn't work...
I used them today as is and blended oatmeal as well - hopefully this will make for a rustic bar...
