Teach Soap

I've been bitten by the bug and i' vie been on lots of sites looking for ideas and info. Unfortunately, I live in scotland and I've not been able to find and courses to learn soap making properly. Their are many courses in England but are too far away. First of all I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Also I wanted to clarify something . I know you have to melt your solid butters but if your recipe only requires liquid oils eg . Olive oil. do you still need to heat the oils?

Hi Monica,
I don't know of anyone offhand that offers classes where you are.
If you are working with only olive oil, you can use room temp olive oil with hot lye and stick blend till trace.
I prefer to heat all my oils, so the oils and lye are approximately the same temp.
