I'm about to attempt my first Rebatching as I made a mess of my soap. It came out white and quite firm on the top and soft at the bottom. I dont know where I went wrong but can I Rebatching all of it or just part of it?
Thanks

Here is how to do a rebatch:
Shred or chunk the soap
Turn the crockpot to low (most settings on newer models get too hot, which can scorch the soap)
Add to a crockpot
If the soap is new, no water is needed
If the soap is older add about 1 Tablespoons of water per lb. of soap.
Let it melt til it's about the consistency of mashed potatoes or applesauce.
Stir well, then glop into your mold.

Rebatched soap will not be as fluid as it was originally.
