Teach Soap

When using silk, is the preferred / only silk to use the beige cotton-type silk, like I use from a soaping supply on-line source (that I dissolve in my hot lye water) or is there another form of silk that is more commonly used with better results?

You can use raw silk.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

I raised my own silkworms and I take the cocoons, cut them up into pieces and add them to the lye water...they dissolve nicely!!!
